Our facilities feature exercise and strengthening machines along with free weights, all designed for your comprehensive health and strengthening workouts. Resistance tubes, exercise balls and exercise mats are also available to supplement your individual flexibility and balancing routines. Not familiar how to use the equipment? Our staff is here to help you.

 Professional instructors conduct a range of group classes tailored to help you achieve your specific goals and abilities, such as strengthening, stretching, endurance, balance and cardiac health.  Classes are free, included with a fitness membership (excluding Yoga offered by external contractors). Orientation sessions are by appointment.

To accommodate your personal schedule, all Full and Fitness members can access the center every day of the year including holidays. Just use your FOB to open the door.  This offers amazing flexibility to support your fitness goals.

 

Customize Your Fitness Exercise Routine

We each have specific objectives for improving our health and fitness. Design your fitness class schedule to meet your objectives. Our class descriptions, accessed via the link below, identifies the primary focus of each class with the following designations: Strength Training, Aerobic Training, and Yoga/Stretch.

Strength Fitness Training

Strength training is extremely important in combating the age-related changes in muscle mass, bone density, metabolism and balance. It is an effective way to increase muscle strength and mobility, stay self-sufficient and to shed unwanted inches.  Check out the classes offered that concentrate on strength training.

Body Design: A 45-minute class focused on upper body workout, using 2 sets of dumbbells to strengthen, tone and define your physique.

Yoga/Stretch Training

Strength training is extremely important in combating the age-related changes in muscle mass, bone density, metabolism and balance. It is an effective way to increase muscle strength and mobility, stay self-sufficient and to shed unwanted inches.  Check out the classes offered that concentrate on strength training.

Stretch Classes, Strength, & Balance: These unique classes use slow movement exercises focusing on lower body and core strength to improve balance. It also incorporates extensive stretching to increase flexibility.

Zoom Classes

Zoom/Video Classes

We have invested in technology,  which allows us to offer classes on line using Zoom.  Many of our instructors lead class participants through a number of their regular classes this way.  No need to workout in a crowded aerobics room.  Enjoy your workout from the comfort of your home. Check out the class schedule (currently provided in the Club Newsletter) to determine if Zoom is offered for your favorite workout and start working out with your Zoom friends! We also offer several video classes. Come workout with your friends, with lots of space and freedom to move!  Our aerobics room is all ready for you. You can participate in the classes listed on the schedule, or you can request a video when no one is using the aerobics room. We have lots to choose from: Cardio, Pilates, Strengthening, and Stretch.

  • Fitness classes are FREE to all Full Membership & Fitness Center members, and holders of valid Day Passes.

  • Also included with your Full and Fitness Center Membership are fitness classes in the pool.

 pre-registration for classes is required. Please arrive 10 minutes prior, for sign-in.

Classes are FREE to all Fitness Center members, and holders of valid Day Passes.

Members and Day Pass holders under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times while using the Fitness Center equipment and facilities.

These amenities are community-owned by the PGI Section 22 Homeowner’s Association
