Fitness Class Information

Looking for more information to help decide what classes best suit your interests and current level of fitness? 

Our offerings are described in more detail and categorized to easily match your fitness goals to the options available.  If you have questions, please contact the staff at the Fitness Center.

At present, due to COVID restrictions, our fitness classes are offered via ZOOM.  All in person classes are currently on hold.  Please see our Club Newsletter or email to see the current schedule and selection of classes offered.  As soon as it is safe, we will resume in-person classes and we will welcome you back to the aerobics room at that time OR you can continue to workout in the safety of your own home.  What ever works best for you!

Operating hours

To accommodate your personal schedule, all Full and Fitness members can access the center every day of the year including holidays. Just use your FOB to open the door.  This offers amazing flexibility to support your fitness goals.

 

Strength Fitness Training

SIT N FIT:  A tough 45 minute workout using a stable chair as a prop to help improve your strength, flexibility, endurance and balance. Mat work included.

TUBESDAY:  A 45-minute class that works your upper and lower body to the limit by using EXERTUBES.  Each muscle group will be worked to increase strength and endurance. Mat work included.

LOTTA TABATA:   This 45-minute Tabata class will work both your upper and lower body.  If you’re looking for a new program to add to your routine, you may want to give Tabata a try. Tabata training is a high-intensity interval training workout, featuring exercises that last four minutes.

BUTTS & GUTS:  A challenging 45-minute workout that really tones and tightens those problem glutes and abs areas.  Mat work included.

FUNCTIONAL STRETCH:  A 45-minute class to stretch every muscle, a perfect complement to a well-rounded fitness program.

 MUSCLE FACTORY:  Work all major muscle groups with a variety of strengthening and conditioning exercises with emphasis on proper weightlifting techniques during this 45 minute class.  Designed for all levels, you will finish feeling empowered and strong.

Aerobics Training

Aerobic Fitness Training

ZUMBA:   55-minute Aerobic workout to Latin music.  Dance to great music, with great people, and burn a ton of calories without even realizing it.

CARDIO PARTY:  This 45-minute class is an energetic, upbeat aerobics class done to fun music.  It will get your body moving and your heart pumping!  Instructed at both a high and low level, includes movement around the room, but allows you to choose the best intensity for your current level of fitness.

AQUA AEROBICS & AQUA ZUMBA:   A 45-minute aerobic workout perfect for those looking to make a splash by adding a low-impact, high energy aquatic exercise to your fitness routine. Designed to improve cardiovascular endurance and tone muscles, without added stress on your joints.

SIT N FIT SILVER:  A 45-minute fun class moving to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and cardiovascular endurance.   A variety of equipment will be used for resistance, and a chair is available for seated and/or standing support.

STRENGTH TRAINING VIDEO: The video we use will vary, but all are guaranteed to help you strengthen your muscles and bones, which is so important. Come join other members who are getting strong.

BODY FIT:  A 45-Minute Class Alternating cardio movement and muscle conditioning with an emphasis on improving balance and flexibility.

STEP AEROBICS: A 45-Minute Cardio class, the “The Step” is a 4-inch to 12-inch raised platform. You step up, around and down from the platform in different patterns to boost your heart rate and breathing, and strengthen your muscles.

YOGA: All levels welcome! There is an extra charge for all Yoga (provided by external contractor). Discounts apply for members.

 MEET ME AT THE BARRE: Barre is a fusion of Pilates, ballet, yoga and strength training.  Classes include modifications for any fitness level so you can feel successful while achieving a great workout that will lengthen and tone your body.

CHAIR STRETCH: A 45 minute class to improve strength, balance and flexibility.  It is gentle but thorough.

CHAIR YOGA:  Enjoy the benefits of yoga without having to get down on the floor!  A chair will be used for seated poses and as support for standing poses, but staying seated is always an option.  This 45 minute class can help increase flexibility and muscular endurance, improve balance, reduce stress and improve overall sense of well-being.

Tennis Pro Jay Penny will be facilitating a number of offerings ranging from Free Lessons for Beginners, to Hyper shot Clinics to Private Lessons and Team Clinics.  Contact the Fitness Club for information, and to learn which one is best for you.

 

OPEN PLAY TENNIS: Everyone is welcome! Come play with all levels of players and just enjoy the game and friendships. Pre-register at the club please, at least 24 hours in advance.

Pickleball

PICKLEBALL BASIC TRAINING AND NEW LEVEL PICKLEBALL:  Pickleball Pro Ricky (Ricardo) Deller will be facilitating these 2 classes. Basic Training will get you started, and New Level will improve your skills. Contact the Fitness Club for more information.

 

INTRODUCTION TO PICKLEBALL: This is for those who have never played! Come learn the rules and get some skills! This class begins November 15th. All other Pickleball is Open Play, just drop in and join in!
